The app was only form with cards and basic info: balance user movements, benefits and promotions section without segmentation. The users don't really know where to use their money, sometimes they accumulate their electronic money due to this flaw.
The original design was useful just for guiding in covering the basic needs. We got more than 1M users potential views and interaction wasted, they didn't open the app for more than check if the company deposited their monthly payment.

During the ideation phase of the project, I conducted user interviews to build new personas and to inform the design. The team prepared an interview script with 18 open-ended questions, focusing on our target audiences’ values, motivations, and routines. In 7 days, I recruited and interviewed 12 users remotely. We referenced the user interview findings throughout the entire design process. Some key questions were:

Do they have an average of monthly spending?

We could increase the value of the app for the 1 Million users we have already, letting them known where they can use the cards and showing promotions.
